Texas Country Goes on Safari Itinerary
11 nights / 12 days October 16th to 27th 2025
Days 1 – 2: Nairobi Arrival and Acclimatization
October 16-17: Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport
in Nairobi. Afrika Experience representative will meet and transfer group to Trademark Hotel located in
the upmarket suburban Village Market in Gigiri (next to US and Canadian embassies).
Day 1: Check-in, relax, and explore the hotel’s amenities.
Day 2: Take a morning walk in Karura forest, have lunch at River Cafe, afternoon coffee
farm visit, and a cultural performance with dinner at a good local restaurant.
Day 3: Nairobi concert Sat, Oct 18th
Day 4: Nairobi – Day of rest Sun, Oct 19th
Day 5: Nanyuki and First Concert – October 20: Transfer to Sarova Maiyan Nanyuki. A country resort that
offers an experience with a perfect blend of relaxation and indulgence.
○ Evening: First concert by Fingerpistol, set against the stunning backdrop of Mount
Kenya.
Days 5 – 6: Samburu National Reserve, Kenya – October 21-22: Transfer to Samburu Intrepids. A luxury
tented camp.
○ Day 5: Game drive in Samburu National Reserve, known for its unique wildlife, including
the rare Grevy’s zebra and reticulated giraffe.
○ Day 6: Morning game drive, followed by an evening fireside performance by Fingerpistol.
Days 7 – 8: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya – October 23-24: Transfer to Mara Elatia Camp. A
sophisticated tented-camp that offers a relaxing breather experience in the wild only found at the
escarpment
○ Day 7: Game drive in the Maasai Mara, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations.
○ Day 8: Morning game drive, visit to rhino sanctuary or a cultural visit to a Maasai village.
Fireside evening performance by Fingerpistol.
Days 9 – 10: Mombasa Beach, Kenya coast. – October 25: Fly to Mombasa and check into Voyager
Beach Resort.
○ Day 9: Beach concert by Fingerpistol. October 25
○ Day 10: Relax on the beach, enjoy water sports, or explore the historic town of Mombasa. October 26
Day 11: Nairobi – Day of Departure Mon (evening), Oct 27th
