Texas Country Goes on Safari Itinerary
11 nights / 12 days November 6th to 17th 2025
Days 1 – 2: Nairobi Arrival and Acclimatization
November 6-7: Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport
in Nairobi. Afrika Experience representative will meet and transfer group to Trademark Hotel located in
the upmarket suburban Village Market in Gigiri (next to US and Canadian embassies).
○ Day 1: Check-in, relax, and explore the hotel’s amenities.
○ Day 2: Take a morning walk in Karura forest, have lunch at River Cafe, afternoon coffee
farm visit, and a cultural performance with dinner at a good local restaurant.
Day 3: Nanyuki and First Concert – November 8: Transfer to Sarova Maiyan Nanyuki. A country resort that
offers an experience with a perfect blend of relaxation and indulgence.
○ Evening: First concert by Fingerpistol, set against the stunning backdrop of Mount
Kenya.
Days 4 – 5: Samburu National Reserve, Kenya – November 9 -10: Transfer to Samburu Intrepids. A luxury
tented camp.
○ Day 4: Game drive in Samburu National Reserve, known for its unique wildlife, including
the rare Grevy’s zebra and reticulated giraffe.
○ Day 5: Morning game drive, followed by an evening fireside performance by Fingerpistol.
Days 6 – 7: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya – November 11-12: Transfer to Mara Elatia Camp. A
sophisticated tented-camp that offers a relaxing breather experience in the wild only found at the
escarpment
○ Day 6: Game drive in the Maasai Mara, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations.
○ Day 7: Morning game drive, visit to rhino sanctuary or a cultural visit to a Maasai village.
Fireside evening performance by Fingerpistol.
Days 8 – 9: Mombasa Beach, Kenya coast. – November 13-14: Fly to Mombasa and check into Voyager
Beach Resort.
○ Day 8: Relax on the beach, enjoy water sports, or explore the historic town of Mombasa.
○ Day 9: Valentine’s Day beach concert by Fingerpistol.
Days 10 -11: Nairobi and Farewell Concert – November 15 -16: Fly back to Nairobi and stay at Trademark
Hotel.
○ Day 10: Final concert by Fingerpistol at an outdoor venue in Nairobi.
○ Day 11: Free day for shopping, sightseeing, or relaxing.
○ Feb 17, Farewell dinner at a good local restaurant, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta
International Airport for departure.
